|Description||Thiamine Hydrochloride is the salt form of thiamine. Thiamine, also known as vitamin B1, is a water-soluble essential vitamin with antioxidant, erythropoietic, mood modulating, and glucose-regulating activities. Thiamine pyrophosphate, formed by thiamine and ATP, is a coenzyme active in the intracellular glucose metabolism. Thiamine may inhibit the action of glucose and insulin on arterial smooth muscle cell proliferation.
