|Description||Rauwolscine hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of Rauwolscine which is a potent, reversible and specific α2 adrenergic receptor antagonist with a Ki values are 3.5, 4.6, and 0.6 nM at cloned human α2A-AR, α2B-AR, and α2C-AR adrenoceptors, respectively. It also acts as a 5-HT2B receptor antagonist and has the function to modulate mood.
