Edasalonexent, also known as CAT-1004, is a NF-kappa B inhibitor under the development of Catabasis Pharmaceuticals and Sarepta Therapeutics. It is a Inflammation mediator inhibitor and could be an anti-inflammatory drug candidate. In Apr 2016, Phase-II clinical trials in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (In children) in USA were on-going. In Sep 2016, Catabasis Pharmaceuticals and Sarepta Therapeutics agreed to co-develop edasalonexent with an exon skipping treatment together in USA for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
