Description	Chrysophanol is a natural anthraquinone isolated from the root and rhizome of Rheum palmatum L. Chrysophanol has the activity of anti-inflammatory through the suppression of NF- κ B/caspase-1 activation in vitro and in vivo, and also has mild cytotoxicity and anti-diabetic properties. It can inhibit NALP3 inflammasome activation and ameliorate cerebral ischemia/reperfusion in mice
