c-(Ap-8-AET-Gp) is an analogue of messenger c-(ApGp), the bacterial second, which is used as a ligand for affinity chromatography or for coupling of labelling structures such as fluorophores. c-(ApGp) plays a role in Vibrio choleraepathogenesis and activates the production of interferon via STING.
