|Description||Astragaloside II is a saponin found in the root of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bunge, which is known as huáng qí in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has cardioprotective effects as well as causing improvement in cognitive function. It is used in the prevention of cardio-cerebral vascular diseases. It stimulates osteoblast differentiation resulting in bone formation. It is a potent MDR reversal agent and may be used as a potential adjunctive agent for hepatic cancer chemotherapy.|
