2.Electrode Prepared with Combination of Different Conductive Polymers for Hydroquinone Determination in River Water.

Modified electrode based on combination of different conductive polymers (Polyaniline - Poly(3-methylthiophene) - Poly(3,3' diaminobenzidine) (PANI - P3MT - PDAB)) was previously synthesized in dichloromethane containing HClO4 and tetrabutylammoniumperchlorate (TBAP) supporting electrolyte. In this study, determination of hydroquinone (HQ) with amperometric I-t method over this modified and its homopolymers coated electrode was successfully carried out in river water as real sample and in solution consisting of NaHSO4/Na2SO4 (pH 2.0). For this method, potentials between 0.45 V and 0.65 V were applied and the best analytical response was obtained at 0.55 V using this modified electrode when compared its homopolymer. The limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ) , the linear dynamic range and regression coefficient (R2) were found as 1.31x10-4 mM, 4.37x10-4 mM, 4.37x10-4- 95.0 mM and 0.998, respectively. These results were compared to homopolymers coated and uncoated Pt electrodes.

In this study we analyzed whether our aronia-citrus juice (ACJ, the composition is based on a mixture of 95% citrus juice with 5% of Aronia melanocarpa juice), rich in polyphenols, and physical exercise had an effect on seven catabolites of DNA identified in plasma and on a urine isoprostane (8-iso-PGF2α). Sixteen elite triathletes on a controlled diet for triathlon training (45 days) were used in this clinical trial. Our results show a decrease in the 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine concentration due to chronic physical exercise. The ACJ intake and physical exercise maintained the guanosine-3',5'-cyclic monophosphate plasmatic concentrations and decreased the concentration of 8-hydroxyguanine as well as urinary values of 8-iso-PGF2α. Finally, we observed a significant increase in the 8-nitroguanosine levels in triathletes after ACJ intake, compared to the placebo stage. It is concluded that the combination of the intake of ACJ, rich in polyphenolic compounds, with adequate training was able to influence the plasmatic and urinary values of oxidative stress biomarkers.

in English, Chinese目的:探讨Toll样受体4(Toll-like receptor 4,TLR4)基因3'未翻译区G11367C与NF-κB抑制因子(nuclear factor kappaB,IκB)-α Hae III位点多态性的交互作用和急性胰腺炎(acute pancreatitis,AP)及其严重程度的关系。方法:选择新乡医学院第一附属医院2013年5月至2015年6月收治的AP患者450例(AP组),AP组又分为轻度AP组(MAP亚组)、中度AP组(MSAP亚组)和重度AP组(SAP亚组)各150例,以150例健康体检者作为对照组。以上述各组患者的外周血白细胞为样本,利用PCR技术检测TLR4基因3'未翻译区G11367C和IκB-α Hae III多态性。每位研究对象进行面对面的问卷调查,采用非条件logistic回归对资料进行分析,估算G11367C和IκB-α Hae III多态性与AP发病风险的调整比值比(OR)及95%可信区间(95%CI),并分析G11367C与IκB-α Hae III多态性的交互作用。结果:G11367C(GC),IκB-α Hae III(AG)和IκB-α Hae III(GG)基因型频率AP组的分布分别为69.56%,33.78% 和36.22%;MAP亚组分别为49.33%,24.67% 和26.00%;MSAP亚组分别为70.67%,34.67%和36.67%;SAP亚组分别为88.67%,42.00%和46.00%;对照组分别为26.67%,14.00%和14.67%;上述基因型频率在AP组与对照组之间以及各AP亚组之间差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.01)。G11367C(GC)基因型者患AP的风险均显著增加(ORAP=6.2828,ORMAP=2.6776,ORMSAP=6.6250,ORSAP=21.5147),IκB-αHae III(AG)和IκB-α Hae III(GG)基因型者患AP的风险也显著增加(分别ORAP=5.7369,ORMAP=2.5277,ORMSAP=6.1824,ORSAP=17.85751;ORAP=5.8724,ORMAP=2.5902,ORMSAP=6.
